Thanks for this, Jo. I loved the song and will definitely be looking up Ayla's other music. I shouldn't complain about having to rest after my op ( bet you'd give anything for some rest!) but I'm dying to get out in my garden and back in the sea, so I enjoyed reading your thoughts. I've also got a wren- why is there only ever one, I wonder? I picked and pressed some daffodils and primroses this morning and made a card from the flowers I'd pressed previously, so at least I've done sonething! Sending healing wishes for you and your boys xx
Such a beautiful post, Jo! The flowery season has begun here in the village, with crocuses flowering, but is much more timid than in the city, where everything is abloom... I find beauty in both. Hope you have a delightful spring!
Narcissus, wild garlic, and just emerging hosta leaf tips. All bring a little frisson of joy to lighten the days. Light though is the key, we all need more light! 😉
Thank you for being here Jo. I love how nature is supporting you through this challenging time 💚🌿
I'm constantly being drawn to nettles right now, but somehow feel daunted about where to start! I have so many of them growing on my plot - and I keep reading about them here. I'm pretty sure the universe is trying to tell me something..
Hello 🙋♀️It’s nice to see you. Happy Spring. My lilacs come out too early and a late frost crisped them up. I’m prepping the bed for peas this weekend. I’m craving wild goodies to eat. I’m jealous of your proximity to the sea. 🌊 that is on my list for this year. I’m heading to Florida, but I crave wild, cold water. Sending so much love. Thank you for sharing a peek into your studio. ❤️

Thank you for the reminder of this simple, fun process of pressing flowers. My violets emerged yesterday. ❤️

I want to make a nettle sipping tea today. Any hints on catching them without succumbing to the sting?
I use gloves if I’m collecting a lot. Unfortunately my patch has dwindled so I’m hunting again.
Good luck!🙂🙏
Definitely a studio session would be lovely to see xx
Ditto to that. Studio tour and chat please. 🙏
💚 the violets

Oh yes please. Love to have a post on the studio.
I do think we all battle with all you’ve mentioned today, but it’s more difficult as the only parent. Sending big hugs 🤗
Love those plant ink paintings Jo!
